Vail - Day 7

It was another beautiful, sunny day just as we have had since our arrival.  We had our final day of GS and we continued to work with brushes.  The reason we spend time working with brushes it that when you have an actual gate, the focus is taken off of your skiing and direct at the gate.  By using brushes, we have the ability to continue with the free skiing drills we did the first 5 days while dictating where we want them to turn.  We had a great morning with athletes making progress in the brushes and some athletes continuing with the free skiing drills next to the brushes.  After a late lunch, the athletes returned to the race hill to take a few more free ski runs working on their GS skiing before we move to SL for the last two on-snow days.  Tomorrow, we will be heading to Beaver Creek to watch the Men's World Cup Super-G and cheering on MMSC/MMWA alumus, Ryan Cochran-Siegle, as he races in the second World Cup race of his young career!

We should have some exciting pictures from tomorrows event, hopefully it is another great day for Team USA.  If you haven't heard, Bode Miller won the DH today at Beaver Creek and Lindsey Vonn won the DH today at Lake Louise!

Shot of the day, Erin ripping!!!
